These are mostly repositioning cruises so you would need to look at the lines that operate out of Vancouver in the summer for their Alaska cruises. They depart either from San Diego or Los Angeles and travel to either Seattle or Vancouver in early May. Currently Holland America, Princess, Celebrity and I believe NCL operate cruises out of Vancouver to Alaska so these ships would end up in Vancouver. RCL used to operate out of Vancouver but now sail out of Seattle so cruises would end there.

Cruise lines aren’t like airlines. Their own site is very competitive with some of the best prices they offer. I’ve also booked through AAA and vacations to go. I’ve found great rates on all of them. Carnival offers a better deal for past cruisers than 1st timers. Vacations to go offers a better deal if you don’t need to control your cabin. For example, I want a guaranteed ocean view room. You pay more if you need a room in the middle of the ship this particular category.

Cheaper rooms are interior. I wouldn’t mind that b/c you don’t spend much time in your room.
